This modest family-run pension is owned by the very friendly Takır family and is located in the storybook village of Kale/Kekova. The sea is literally on your doorstep as you can walk out of your room and on to a narrow platform which is wide enough for 10 sunbathers and dip your toes into the ever bright waters of the Bay of Kekova. The pension has a rowboat that guests can use to explore the sunken ruins of ancient Simena and their restaurant doubles as the family sitting room where fresh fish and delicious homemade ice-creams are served. The older rooms here are made of concrete and are rather basic but the newer units are constructed of wood and are quite airy and wide. The village is topped with a medieval castle that is only accessible by sea and there are scores of very small islets, some of which bear hermits cells and other mysterious structures, scattered across the harbour. This enchanting site is surrounded by mountains and has hardly been touched by the modern world.
