You will find this building on Ulus Square and it was home to the first Turkish National Parliament from April 23, 1920 to October 15, 1924 after which it became the headquarters of the People’s Republic Party and then a Law School. It was given over to the Ministry of Education in 1952 and opened as the Museum of the Turkish National Parliament on April 23, 1961.

Inside there is a hall, corridor, Chambers of the Ruling Council, Committee Room, Break Room, Administrative Rooms, Parliamentary Meeting Hall, Office of the Parliament Head, storage for photographs and other items, and the basement is used as an exhibition hall.  

Opening Hours

The museum is closed on Mondays and opens from 08:30-12:15 & 13:30-17:15.
