This beautiful place sits in 7,000 hectares at the foot of the Olympos Mountains and its population of 7,000 expands to over 30,000 during the summer season. The 6km strand of coastline here has been awarded a Blue Flag certificate and the water and landscape offer every tone of blue and green possible.
During construction of the hotels, holiday villages and infrastructure, great care was taken to preserve the natural environment when building among the green pine forests that drop down to the beach from the Toros Mountains , and because of the care taken, water pollution problems do not exist in Kemer. This wonderful place has yet to be on the tourist map as even in the height of the summer season you will find quiet beaches where there are all types of water sports are on offer.
