Gumusluk, this sleepy village, 2km past Kadikalesi , is a welcome change from all the villa complexes everywhere. As it sits on the ancient Myndos site, new development has been prohibited by the Archaeological Service.

A popular place for yachts because of the deep anchorage it offers between the headland and Tavsan Adasi ( Rabbit Island ). The 1km sand and gravel beach is attractive and has water-sport gear for rent.

There are a few basic pansiyons and some well stocked shops along the shoreline.

Gumusluk Restaurants

The overpriced waterfront restaurants catering to the yacht passengers and seasonal Turkish residents offer fresh fish and the food is to a good standard.

Traveling from Bodrum to Gumusluk

The dolmus from Bodrum takes 40 minutes to get here.
