Kargi, Bagla and Karaincir in Bodrum

Kargi, Bagla and Karaincir in Bodrum

Kargi or Camel Beach

Better known as Camel Beach , 16km from Bodrum has one of the nicest sandy beaches on the Bodrum Peninsula; it’s great for swimming and popular with daily boat tours that stop for the camel riding that is on offer there. The beach is overlooked by many villas and a few fish restaurants are available.

Bagla

Bagla, the next bay on from Kargi, has the softest sand in the Bodrum area and because of this, tour boats descend here in droves before midday. There are a couple of mediocre restaurants next to the free car park.

Karaincir

Karaincir, the next cove along and its 600m
of sand almost as good as Bağla, is the most westerly point visited by the Bodrum excursion boats. Canoes and windsurfing rental is available along with the usual sun-beds and umbrellas. There are a couple of restaurants, a handful of cafés and bars, and a few simple motels situated on the main road.
