You will be spoilt for choice with water sport activities, and diving facilities, that are available in and around Bodrum. The daily dive boat tours depart from the quayside and use professional instructors.  The best windsurfing areas and schools are located on the coasts of Bitez and Gumbet which is a just 15 minute drive from the centre of Bodrum.

For families with children, go to the Aqua Park where you are guaranteed to have a whole day of fun.

Visit the Market

The huge market/bazaar of Bodrum is held on a Tuesday and a great place for those in need of retail therapy, you can buy everything here from the latest fashions, jewellery and handicrafts, souvenirs and gifts for those at home.

Dine at a Restaurant

Dine and drink at one of the many restaurants or bars that are around the castle and cater to all tastes and budgets and for those who want to escape the vast crowds that can be here head for the side streets where there are plenty more venues for entertainment and usually a little less packed.

Try Local Cuisine

Before you leave ensure you have sampled Bodrum’s local cuisine which includes Aci Ot Kavurmasi (Hot Sautéed Vegetables), Kabak Cicegi Dolmasi (Stuffed Courgettes), Usulu Cig Borek (a Bodrum style pastry) and we highly recommend Cirik (Chicken cooked in tomatoes and onions).
