Healing Waters of Sifne

There is a legend that tells that the King of Erythrai who had a daughter suffering from terrible lesions on her body was passing through this region whilst out hunting. He noticed that the wounds on his hunting dog healed after being in the mud there and took it back for his daughter to use, she was completely healed and thus this region became known as Sifne.
Originally and up until the 1980s only local people used the springs and healing centres and today Sifne is very popular with nationalities from all over the world.

Sifne has a lovely beach, there are a few fish restaurants dotted around the area, small market shops and lots of summer residences, and the Aqua Beach Club that is set in a bay with a back drop of mountains and forest that has its own thermal pools and all other facilities you would expect from a 5-star venue.
