Beaches of Altinkum
Altinkum has three beaches, two of which are at each end of the resort, beginning at the harbour and ending at the rocky cape, and are Main Beach and Second Beach, offering visitors with over 1km of beach. Third Beach is located at the harbour end of the resort.
A free minibus service is operated by local restaurant owners that will collect and return visitors to their hotels. The restaurants here offer a wide range of food that includes snacks, children’s menus, traditional Turkish food and even British fare like roast dinners. There is also a marina here that has recently been built.
Main Beach of AltinkumIt is only metres from Dolphin Square in the town centre and is lined with restaurants and bars, it is the busiest of the beaches and can become very crowded.
Second Beach of AltinkumFrom the promenade at Main Beach and facing the sea, turn left and walk along until you arrive at Second Beach. This beach is smaller than Main Beach and has the same facilities.
Third Beach of AltinkumThis beach is small and the water shallow making it very popular with families that have young children.
