Babadag Mountain Fethiye

Babadag Mountain Fethiye
Its ancient name is Mount Cragus and in English means “Father Mountain”, it stands 1,969 metres high, has two summits facing each other which are separated by a flood valley and is composed mainly from limestone and is rich in plants, flowers and forest.

As the summit is less then 5km from sea level it has become one of the most important paragliding centres in the world offering perfect thermal wind and ideal conditions, is located right next to the popular holiday resort of Oludeniz in Fethiye where just after take-off paragliders are rewarded with the most fantastic views of this famous beautiful blue lagoon.

The only way to access the mountain is by using a 4x4 vehicle and there are many paragliding companies based in Fethiye to get you there.
