Saklikent Gorge is the most dramatic geological formation in the Xanthos valley and famed for being the second largest gorge in Europe. Visitors are able to walk for 5kms and there is a 150m pedestrian walkway in the canyon walls that leads on to the Gokcesu / Ulupinar Springs bubbling up from the base of the towering cliffs that eventually merge with the Esen Çayı (or Esen Stream).

Saklikent Gorge has several restaurants where vistors can stop for lunch and we strongly recommend you bring comfortable footwear that you can also use when walking in water as if you visit the gorge using a tour operator you will also most likely visit the nearby Tlos Ruins.
