Basaksehir is a district of Istanbul, formed by separating from Kucukcekmece , Esenler and Buyukcekmece districts. Arnavutkoy is situated in its north, Sultangazi in its north-east, Esenler in its east, Bagcilar , Kucukcekmece and Avcilar in its south and Esenyurt in its west.
You can travel to Basaksehir with the TEM road (there are frequent buses available), with the train (Ispartakule train station) or with the metro. The Basaksehir – Kirazli –Olimpiyatkoy metro line is probably the easiest way to travel to/from Basaksehir. It takes 20 minutes and costs 1,95 Turkish Lira.
