Kucuksu Kasri or Goksu PalaceA 10 minute bus ride away is the Kucuksu Kasri or Goksu Palace (both names taken from two nearby streams) and was built by Nikogos Balian. The palace has an extremely ornate exterior and the rococo carving is best seen from the Bosphorus which was the intended approach to the palace. The interior is decorated with lace and carpets from Hereke, Bohemian crystal chandeliers and floors of mahogany inlaid with rose and almond wood and ebony.
