Cruising along the Bosphorus from Eminonu to Bebek
From the European side the 19th century Dolmabahce Palace comes into view followed by the early 20th century Besiktas landing stage.
Coming into view shortly after are the Four Seasons at the Bosphorus Hotel and the super deluxe Ciragan Palace Hotel, which has a swimming pool sitting on the water’s edge and directly opposite is the late 18th century Fethi Ahmed Pasa Yali that is more commonly known as the Pink Yali.
Ortakoy on the European shore can be seen as you approach the Bosphorus Bridge and is one of Istanbul’s most popular nightlife areas and almost underneath the bridge directly opposite is Beylerbeyi Palace , which looks like a smaller version of Dolmabahce, and continuing on the Asian side are the twin towers of the Kuleli Military School .
Cruising along the strait and looking to the European side is the neighbourhood of Arnavutkoy that still has many of its lovely wooden houses and just passed there is Bebek and the beautiful Art Nouveau building that is now the Egyptian Consulate .
