There are many small local shops within the narrow streets here that are worth checking out and a refreshing change from the modern shops on nearby  Istiklal Road.

Shopping for Antiques

If you are interested in antiques Cukurcuma is one of the best places to find them in  Istanbul , particularly on Cukurcuma Road and off its side streets.
