Ferruh Kethuda Mosque Istanbul
This small mosque was built in 1562 by Mimar Sinan for Ferruh Ağa, a steward to Ali Paşa (Fat Ali) who had a medrese near to Edirnekapi . The mosque's external appearance is ruined by an ugly modern porch but it does have a mihrab inside that is decorated with tiles from the nearby Tefkur Palace . One of Istanbul’s four religious courts, the Balat Court, would meet in the grounds here.
