Things to do in Kadirga

Why not take a bath at Kadirga Hamam (Tel. 0212 518 1948) on the street with the same name.  The hamam was commissioned by Governor General Yahya Pasa in 1506 as revenue for a soup kitchen in Skopje.  The Turkish Bath faces the park and was once the first port of call by sailors after returning from a voyage.  It was rebuilt in 1734 and remains very authentic with different sections for both men and women.

How to get to Kadirga

The easiest way is to walk downhill from the far end of the Hippodrome or alternatively take the suburban train from Cankurtaran alighting at Kumkapı station and head eastwards.
