Nuruosmaniye or Light of Osman Mosque Istanbul
This huge complex was originally built between 1748 and 1755 by Sultan Mahmud I and Osman III and was the first large mosque designed in the European baroque style. It has been built on terraces that are accessible by flights of stairs and its most obvious feature is a long ramp which accessed the Sultans’ private seat.  
The mosque was fully restored in 2009 and from its minarets the Hagia Sophia and Bosphorus can be seen. As the courtyard acts as a short cut to Cemberlitas and the Grand Bazaar it is always very busy with people.

The mosque is located in Fatih .
