Privy Chamber in Dolmabahce Palace

Privy Chamber in Dolmabahce Palace
There is a guest room off of the Sufera corridor that houses a Fausto Zonaro painting of Kaiser Wilhelm II and opens into a wonderful Reception Room which is better known as the Red Room because of the red and gold decoration there. Also along the same corridor is the vast Privy Chamber which has an intricate parquet floor and was used for religious services at Ramadan or for wedding parties and banquets.
From here a door leads to the Caliph Abdulmecid’s Library that, along with books, has self portraits of the talented caliph and the Music Room here is equipped with a grand piano and two cellos.
