You will also find many of the better known coffee establishments, there are cafés and many banks and it is less crowded and touristy than Istiklal Road with very few street hawkers. The streets here are lined with mature palm, fig, chestnut and plane trees.
At the Bostanci end of Suadiye you will find the dilapidated remains of a wooden house which played host to Ataturk five times and has unfortunately been left in disrepair although restoration works have been discussed but are yet to begin.
