Sultanahmet Mosque or The Blue Mosque Istanbul
Probably the most famous of Istanbul’s landmarks and most visited monument in the city began its construction in 1609. The blue colour of its internal decoration, from which it derives its name “Blue Mosque”, is what draws people to visit.
