Sutluce Hamam Istanbul

Sutluce Hamam Istanbul
This Turkish Bath is close to the Cultural Centre and is attributed to Mimar Sinan but unfortunately there’s not much evidence of that today. The hamam was renovated during Sultan Abdulhamid II reign (1876-1909) and underwent further restoration in 2009.

There is the recently restored Cavusbasi Mosque behind the hamam on Talatpasa Arkasi Street that is also credited to Sinan and next to it is the famous dervish lodge, the Hasirizade Elif Efendi Tekke, which was built in 1784 and has recently undergone restoration.

Location

Sutluce Turkish Bath is located in Beyoglu .
