Belevi Village Selcuk

Belevi Village Selcuk
Belevi Village is located 55km from Izmir city, 29km from Kusadasi and 13km from the town of Selcuk . It is mostly famous for the Belevi Mausoleum that was built by Lysimachus during Hellenistic times and is the second largest and highest tomb of Ancient Anatolia and is 3km east of the village.

Another famous nearby site just south of the village and way up high on the hill of Alamandag with its spectacular views, is the castle Kecikalesi or Kizilhisar.

The village earns its main revenue from gardening, animal stock and olive oil production and has orchards of citrus fruits, figs and produces some of the best peaches available anywhere; to the east of the village is Lake Belevi.
