Dilek Peninsula National Park
Dilek Peninsula National Park has some of the most unspoilt terrain along the Turkish Aegean because of the military presence here.
If you like to hike on mountain trails or lie on the beach, the park is a little piece of paradise. The breathtaking views and lovely beaches are great for picnics.
Beaches of Dilek Peninsula National ParkIcmeler with its hard packed sand and plane trees for shade, Aydınlık Bay has a pebble beach, Kavaklı, also with pebbles and Karasu the prettiest of them all having 700m of pea gravel. Each beach has its own snack bar or drinks kiosk operating during the season.
Facilities at Dilek Peninsula National ParkThere are no overnight facilities within the park but you will find WCs and barbeque areas. The closest hotels and pansiyons are at the village of Guzelcamli 1km outside of the park. 300m below Guzelcamli there are pebble beaches but due to the mass overdevelopment there they are crammed in and not as good as those on offer inside the park.
Getting to Dilek Peninsula National ParkThe dolmus (minibus) leave every half hour from Kusadasi to the park.
