Hisaronu Marmaris

Hisaronu Marmaris
This is another very popular resort and is on the southwest of Marmaris, and the Hisaronu Gulf is larger than the other gulfs in the area offering great facilities for its visitors. The main 22km Marmaris - Datca Road is in between the Hisaronu and Gokova Gulfs and you get wonderful views of the fascinating and natural environment as you ride along.

Hisaronu offers a quieter and calmer experience to its holiday makers, the sea here is shallow and the water and fresh air is very beneficial to those who suffer with asthma and heart disease.

Hisaronu Attractions

Wind-surfing and Horse Riding

In summer it can become windy and this attracts many wind-surfing enthusiasts and Hisaronu has one of three horse riding centres that are in the Marmaris area and from where you can go on horse riding safaris.

Byb Assos Ancient City

Hisaronu also has the ancient city of Bybassos where you can take a walk through history and around its city remnants.

How to get to Hisaronu

It is 22km southwest of Marmaris along the Marmaris- Datca Road and you can take the dolmus minibus from the centre of Marmaris to Hisaronu.
