Thanks to the donations of the European Union and the new laws introduced in Turkey, in the past three years the amount and the quality of the sand increased greatly.
Cleopatra Beach HistoryKleopatra Beach is believed to be the meeting place of Queen Kleopatra and her boyfriend Roman commander Antonius. Some say that the sand was brought from Egypt by Antonius as a gesture to Kleopatra.
Kleopatra or Cleopatra Beach Entrance FeeThe entrance fee is 10 Turkish Lira and it is free for Museum Card holders.
