Selimiye Village Marmaris
Selimiye’s lovely green environment is southwest of Marmaris and 10km from the village of Orhaniye . This is another popular place for the Blue Voyage yachts and boats as the waters are calm and quiet.Apart from visiting the ruins of Hydas, there are remnants of three castles in different locations. Also on the southeast hills of the cove are ruins of city walls dating from Hellenistic times. There is an observation bastion that was built 100m from the shoreline to guide boats in, and a lighthouse, monastery and theatre all worth checking out.
