Seven or Yedi Islands Marmaris

Seven or Yedi Islands Marmaris
On the southwest side of the Gokova Gulf are these small chain of islands that sit close to the coastline and always offer calm waters for dropping anchor; this is favourite place with the blue voyage cruises.
Seagull Island (Martili) on the west side is barren and has beautiful beaches on both its southern and northern points which are great for swimming.
The islands of Uzun (Tall), Zeytinli (Olive) and Kucuk (Small) have steep and rocky coastlines and no beaches, are also mostly barren although in the cove areas are pine forests.
Significant anchoring points here are at Camalti Cove, with a sandy seafloor and beach and shoreline filled with pine forest; Bekar Port (Gokagac Inlet) has a pool with a diameter of 150m ( gulet boats are unable to access here and yachts rarely visit); also Karaagac Port and Babus Inlet with Kufre Cove being the most popular with boats; Gollu Island is ideal for mooring and great for taking a swim.  All these coves are link by dirt tracks and at the entrance to Kufre there is a restaurant that serves boats.
