Ayvaini Cave

In the Bursa District the cave is on the borders of Ayva village, is the 6th longest cave in Turkey and has a second opening at Doganalani. The cave is horizontal with the exception of the two entrances that descend 17m, it is water active, 5.5m long and has 60 lagoons with a length of 3-4m and the lagoon at the exit is 400m. Dating from the Mesozoic Age it has beautiful and fascinating stalactites and stalagmites, wall dripped stone formations and water levels vary according to the season and because of its unspoilt natural beauty is a very popular destination of speleologists (cavers/potholers).

Oylat Cave

In the Bursa - Inegol District, the cave is 1km south of the village of Hilmiye which is 17km away from Oylat Thermal Spring Resort. The cave is 665m long and has two main sections.
The first is formed with narrow galleries and has cauldrons and damlatas pools. The second is filled with large rock blocks and debris and has giant colourful stalactite, stalagmite and pillars for which it is famed. The front of the cave temperature is 29˚C with humidity of 47%, the entrance 19˚C and 55% humidity and the narrow gallery 17˚C with 78% humidity. In the section with the debris the temperature is 14˚C with humidity at 90%. As this is the home to a large amount of bats, photography is strictly forbidden so as not to scare them.
