Ortaca

Ortaca
This region is mostly known for, and makes its money from, light industry and agricultural trade but it does have two significant tourist centres that are located nearby and within its borders which are Dalyan 11km and Sarigerme 16km away.

Ortaca Restaurants

Ley Ley Restaurant

Also in this area is the village of Okcular
and the renowned restaurant Ley Ley, also known locally as the Garden of Storks, and is famed for the storks that nest in the nearby trees during the summer. The owners help to maintain the nests and the surrounding forestation and wetlands to ensure the area remains as natural as possible; they also serve very good food such as stuffed duck, baked lamb and many different kinds of kebabs.

Toprakana Restaurant

Another well known restaurant in the area is Toprakana (Mother Earth) which has been built to blend in with the natural environment using hay and wood (no plastic or concrete anywhere) and the food served is organic and eco-agriculturally grown; they make a breakfast that is second to none along with their baked or spit roast lamb.
