Documents Needed to Transfer the Title Deed of a Property

After you decide on the right property and got the permission paperwork for the military clearance, it is time for you to transfer the title deed under your name.
It is important for you to have all the paperwork in order not to delay the transfer.

Documents needed for title deed transfer

The title deed of the property
Two photographs taken no more than 6 months ago. The size needs to be 6x4 cm.
Documents showing your VAT number.
Your passport (This needs to be the original, photocopies are not accepted).
If you are asking someone else to do this process on your behalf, such as your solicitor or your estate agent, they need to have the power of attorney paperwork with them, as well as a photograph and ID card.
Paperwork showing that you paid the earthquake insurance.
