4 Potatoes diced into small cubes
2 small Carrots diced into small cubes
(alternatively use a tin of mixed Potatoes, Carrots and Peas)
6 small Cucumber Pickles
1 heaped serving spoon of Mayonnaise
5 serving spoons of Yogurt
Pinch of salt
How to prepare
Although American salad is not a traditional Turkish meze, it goes very well with Turkish meat dishes.
Cook the potatoes, carrots, peas until tender (you can also add sweet corn).
Set aside until cool.
Chop the cucumber pickles very finely and add them to the vegetables.
Mix in the mayonnaise, yogurt and salt blending well.
