960ml Milk
4 Egg Yolks
225gr of Sugar
55gr of ground Almonds
1 teaspoon of Almond Extract
30gr of Corn Flour mixed with 3 tablespoons of water
To decorate: chopped Pistachio Nuts and Shredded Coconut

How to prepare

This recipe makes 6 servings.
Beat the egg yolks together then whisk in the corn flour, sugar, almond extract and milk.
Pour into a pan and cook on a medium heat constantly stirring.
As soon as bubbles begin to appear add the almonds.
Continue to stir and boil the mixture for one minute then remove from the heat.
Pour into small serving dishes and allow them to cool for one hour.
Sprinkle the tops with the pistachio and coconut, cover them and place in the fridge.
Serve the dish cold as it is or with a scoop of ice cream.
The Turkish name for this dish is Keskul
