250gr dried Apricots soaked overnight
480ml of Water
For the syrup:
225gr of Sugar
240ml of Water
For the garnish:
Double or Kaymak Cream
100gr of blanched Almonds
50gr chopped Pistachio Nuts
How to prepare
Place the syrup ingredients in a pan and bring to a boil.
Add the drained apricots.
Boil for 15 minutes and allow them to cool.
To serve spread on ½ teaspoon of the cream, top with an almond and sprinkle on the pistachios.
The Turkish name for this dish is Kayisi Tatlisi
