12 Gullac Leaves
600gr of Sugar
1.8lt Milk
1 teaspoon of Vanilla Extract
200gr chopped Pistachio Nuts
1 glacé Cherry

How to prepare

You will need a round tray the same size as the Gullac Leaves
Add the milk, sugar and vanilla to a pan and bring up to a boil for 2 minutes.
Pour 120ml of milk into the tray, add one leaf then more milk until the leaf is soaked.
Continue doing this until you finish the 6th leaf.
Spread 150gr of nuts evenly on the top of the 6th leaf.
Add the 7th leaf on top and continue the milk process until all 12 leaves are used.
Ensure the leaves are properly soaked with milk and there are no dry spots.
Allow the dish to sit for ½ hour before decorating with the nuts and cherry.
Refrigerate the dish until cold and then cut into slices to serve.
