Quinces in Syrup or Ayva Dessert
4 large quinces
1.5 glasses of sugar
Clotted cream (kaymak)
How to prepare
Peel the quinces, cut into four and take out the cores.
Sprinkle 1/2 glass of sugar over a large pan, line the slices side by side and sprinkle the remaining glass of sugar.
Add the cloves.
Cook for 2 to 2.5 hours until they get caramelized and the quinces become dark red colour.
Let it cool.
After putting into a serving plate, put clotted cream on each of them.
