150gr of Semolina
125gr of unsalted Butter
2 tablespoons of Pine Nuts
For the syrup:
240ml of Water
240ml of Milk
225gr of Sugar
How to prepare
Place the semolina, butter and pine nuts in a pan,.
Constantly stir on a medium low heat until the mixture is a golden brown colour.
In a separate pan, mix the syrup ingredients and bring up to a boil.
Very slowly pour the syrup into the semolina mixture stirring with a long wooden spoon.
The mixture will be bubble and spit so take care when doing this.
Keep stirring for several minutes until the mixture becomes doughy.
Remove the pan from the heat, cover with a lid and let it stand for 5 minutes.
Pour the mixture evenly into a bowl to cool.
When cooled place a plate over the bowl and upside down.
Serve cut into slices topped with chocolate sauce.
