Yogurt Cake


250 gr dense yogurt
300 gr flour
350 gr castor sugar
3 eggs
25 gr butter
1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
For the syrup:
3 glasses of sugar
1/2 lemon juice
3.5 glasses of water

How to prepare

In a bowl, beat the yogurt with the sugar. Add the melted butter, eggs, flour and baking powder. Mix these well.
Brush oil onto an oven pan and pour the mixture in it (should be 3-4 cm thick).
Bake the cake in the oven for 45-50 minutes until it gets golden brown.
Boil the ingredients of the syrup and let simmer for 5 minutes.
When the cake is cooked, slowly pour the syrup over and let it cool.
You can serve it by cutting into cubes and by decorating with fresh cream.
