Ingredients

1kg lean finely minced Beef
500gr finely chopped Lamb Tail Fat
2 finely chopped Onions
1 very finely chopped Red Bell Pepper or 1 tablespoon Red Pepper Paste
1 bunch of Parsley, finely chopped
½ teaspoon crushed Red Chilli Flakes
3 teaspoons of Salt
1 teaspoon of Pepper
To garnish: Thinly sliced Onion, Chopped Parsley, Sumac or Paprika

How to prepare

Mix together the beef, lamb, onions and knead thoroughly using your hands.
Make an egg sized ball and gently squeeze it  onto a skewer.
Elongate the ball along the skewer to a thickness of 10cm.
Place on the grill or barbeque and cook on both sides.
Mix the onion, parsley and sumac or paprika together.
Serve with the garnish, grilled green peppers, tomatoes and pita bread.
The Turkish name for this recipe is Adana Kebabı.
