Beef or Lamb Tava
250gr medium sized pieces of Beef or Lamb
2 peeled and sliced large Tomatoes
6-7 peeled cloves of Garlic
1 medium diced Cubanelle Pepper
3 tablespoons of Red Pepper Paste blended in 60ml of water
2 tablespoons of small diced Butter
2 tablespoons of Extra Virgin Olive Oil
½ teaspoon of milled Black Pepper
½ teaspoon of Paprika
Pinch of Salt
Pinch of Pepper
How to prepare
Heat the oil in a pan then spread the meat cubes on the bottom.
Place the cubanelle peppers over the meat, add the tomato slices on top and side by side, leaving no empty spaces.
Sprinkle in the black pepper, red pepper, salt and pepper.
Place the garlic cloves on top, pour on the red pepper paste and dot the butter all over.
Bring the pan to a boil, reduce the heat cover and simmer for 1½ hours.
Serve hot with rice
