Ingredients

1kg of Mutton diced into cubes
20 peeled Pearl Onions
1 Courgette cut into chunks
150gr Green Beans cut in half
2 Bell Peppers cut in rings
2 medium peeled and chopped Tomatoes
150gr tinned Peas
1 bunch of Dill chopped
3 tablespoons of Butter
2 teaspoons of Salt
½ teaspoon of Pepper
120ml of Water

How to prepare

This recipe makes 4 servings.
Melt the butter in a pan.
Add the meat and cook until the liquid has evaporated stirring occasionally.
Add the onions and cook on a low heat for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add the tomatoes, green beans, peppers, salt and pepper and the water.
Cover and cook on a low heat for 45 minutes until the meat is half cooked.
Add the courgette and peas and cook for a further 30 minutes.
Add the chopped dill and remove from the heat.
The Turkish name for this recipe is Bahçıvan Kebap.
