Steamed Lamb with Vegetables
1kg of Leg of Lamb cut into large pieces
2 medium diced Carrots
6 medium diced Potatoes
2 sliced Onions
50gr of Butter
2 Laurel or Bay Leaves
2 teaspoons of fresh Thyme
½ teaspoon of Salt and Pepper
How to prepare
This recipe makes 4 servings.
Melt the butter in a pan and lightly brown the meat and onions together.
Add the salt and pepper.
Cover the meat with water and cook on a medium heat for 40 minutes.
Add the carrot and potato to the pan and simmer on a low heat for 30 minutes.
Place in a serving dish and sprinkle on the thyme.
