Pilaf with Almonds
200gr rinsed and drained Rice
100gr of blanched Almonds
1 tablespoon of Butter
480ml of Water
1 teaspoon of Salt
How to prepare
Lightly toast the almonds and set aside.
Add the water and butter to a pan and bring up to a boil.
Add the rice turn the heat to low and half cover with a lid.
Simmer until all the water has evaporated, stir in the almonds
Serve this dish while it is still warm.
The Turkish name for this dish is Bademli Pilav
