125gr of unsalted Butter (room temperature)
60ml of Yogurt
375gr of Flour
½ teaspoon of Baking Powder
168gr of Sugar
6 tablespoons of Sultanas or Golden Raisins
Yolk of 1 Egg
For the glaze:
1 Egg White lightly whisked
4-5 tablespoons of Sugar

How to prepare

This recipe makes approx. 16-17 cookies.
Pre-heat the oven to 190˚C.
Mix all the ingredients together except the sultanas/raisins and knead.
When the dough comes together add the sultanas/raisins and knead again.
Make small golf ball sized balls with your hands and then dip one side only into the egg white and then the sugar.
Place them on an oven tray lined with parchment paper sugar side up and bake for approx. 25-30 minutes or until the tops are a light pinkish colour.
The Turkish name for this dish is Uzumlu Toz Sekerli Kurabiye
