250gr of unsalted Butter (room temperature)
225gr Icing Sugar
Yolk of 2 Eggs
1 teaspoon of Baking Powder
337.5gr of plain Flour
1 Egg White
45gr of Chopped Walnuts

How to prepare

This recipe makes approx. 20 Walnut Cookies.
Pre-heat the oven to 190˚C.
Cream the sugar and butter together then add the egg yolks.
Slowly add the flour and baking powder and mix well.
Make small golf balls with your hands and then dip one side only in egg white and then the walnuts and repeat.
Place them on an oven tray lined with parchment paper and bake for 25 minutes or until the top half have a light pinkish colour.
The Turkish name for this dish is Cevizli Kurabiye
