Karaada

Karaada
Karaada ( Kara Island ) literally translates to Black Island and sits 6km off the coast of Bodrum and is a very popular with tourists and also as a place to anchor for visiting yachts.  It has a cave that contains mud which is believed to treat skin problems and it’s claimed that Cleopatra used this same mud to preserve her beauty; it also has a thermal spring where you can wash the mud off.  The island is actually very green and has many beautiful coves and sandy beaches with lovely clear and clean water.
