Istanbul Shopping Fest

Istanbul’s huge Shopping Festival is held over 40 days and 40 nights with hundreds and thousands of shops and stores participating offering customers special discounts and extended shopping hours.  The festival is aimed at attracting both domestic and international visitors and is more attractive for those from abroad as they are offered tax free shopping. 

During the time of the festival many of the historic and cultural venues run their opening hours in conjunction with the stores staying open for up to 2 hours longer, and there are all kinds of street parades, concerts, shows and musical activities taking place at the same time.  The dates for the 2014 Shopping Festival are from 7th to 29th of June.
